On Vijaya Dashami of Prabhava nama samvatsara (21 October 2026), the Bhoomi Pūjā for the new office of Surabharathi TV was performed on Kamaraj Road, Bangalore.
The pūjā was performed by Vidwan Sri K. L. Srinivasan, Founder of Sri Surabharathi, along with his pujya mata-pita, assisted by Acharya Prabhakar Sharma. Students and volunteers of Surabharathi took part in the ceremony.

The Bhoomi Pūjā
Bhoomi Pūjā is the worship of Bhūdevī, Mother Earth, before construction begins on a piece of land. Prayers are offered for her blessings and permission to build, so that the work goes ahead without obstacles.
At the onset, invocations in the form of Guru Prarthana were offered. This was followed by the Mahaganapati puja, praying that the Bhoomi Pooja be completed successfully. Then Ganga puja and punyaha vachana were conducted. In preparation for shila sthapana, Bhu devi and Varaha swami were invoked and a shodashopachara puja was offered to them. Then the shila sthapana was completed, concluding with the vastu purusha puja.

The first dig
After the pūjā, those present took turns at the first dig, offering water and flowers to the earth.
